Education and experience
Marc obtained his law degree at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, having previously successfully completed an economics course. After his law studies, he successfully completed a number of additional legal courses, including a Master's in Corporate Law (Antwerp University) and a Postgraduate Curator - Liquidator (Leuven University).
Marc began his career at the Antwerp Bar in 1996, following several years of working in various international locations. After his traineeship, he transferred to the Mechelen Bar, where he was a partner in a medium-sized firm until 2012. During that period, he was also a curator for a number of years at the then Mechelen Commercial Court. He then returned to private practice for several years to work on a challenging international project. Since January 2021, Marc has been active again as a lawyer at Confidenz. On 6 September 2023, he was again appointed curator at the Commercial Court of Antwerp.

Marc has a proven track record in the economic, financial and legal sectors, gained through both private practice and consultancy. This experience encompasses corporate, insolvency and financial law, providing a solid foundation for his role as a curator.
His unique perspective, honed through experience in both the entrepreneurial and advisory roles, enables him to offer a direct and pragmatic approach.
At Confidenz, Marc assists self-employed individuals, entrepreneurs and companies on a daily basis with the legal challenges associated with 'doing business'. This ranges from drawing up contracts, to advising on entrepreneurial risks and corporate.
